薬用植物園は、広島大学薬学部附属の教育研究施設として、霞キャンパスの薬学研究棟東側に設置されています。ここでは、薬学教育及び学術研究に資することを目的として、薬用植物を展示・栽培しています。標本園では現在約160種の植物種を保有しており、種々のハーブを含む薬用植物を栽培・展示し、温室では熱帯・亜熱帯地方などで育つ植物を展示しています。5月から9月頃までは花の多い季節となり、見学するには良い季節だと思います。

また、当園は一般の方以外には企業の方の見学会や、広島県への修学旅行先の一つとして利用していただいたりと様々です。ぜひお立ち寄りいただき、植物に癒される時間をお過ごしいただければ幸いです。

Hi everybody. This is to inform you that the best season to visit our medical herb garden is from May to September, all the plants are fully grown and at their prime during the this period. We have more than 160 different kind of plants  in our garden.
